| An old Garfield comic from when my kids were little was a series of panels with the words " Oh, goody" followed by Oh, pooh". Like, Garfield gets carried away by a giant bird-"Oh, pooh". Then, the bird drops him-"Oh goody". Then Garfield realizes he's falling to earth-"Oh, pooh." Then he drops into a catcher's net-"Oh, goody." Then he realizes the net is held by the dogcatcher-"Oh, pooh." Well, life's like that sometime. Like this week. We had to lay off a lady who had worked for us over 2 years. "Oh, pooh." Then, we hired someone to replace her-"Oh, goody." Now, we're going through all the changing passwords and explaining and training on our system. "Oh, pooh". And Friday night, we're going to Andy's in Denton to hear that awesome group, Halcyon Nights. "Oh, goody!!!" |
